Judge Suriname resumes case of terror suspects

paramaribo - The Surinamese judge continues Wednesday with the case of the brothers Raoul A. and Nasr I. They are suspected of involvement in terrorist activities in Suriname. The lawyers of the brothers are given the opportunity to interrogate the agent who led the police investigation.

The brothers, who ran an Islamic butcher shop in Paramaribo, have the Dutch nationality. They have been in prison for a year and three months now. Requests to release them for the time being have so far been rejected.
