Journalist shot dead in Mogadishu
- A reporter for the Somali state radio Sunday street shot dead in Mogadishu. The police think the murder Sagal Salad is the work of the radical Islamist group al-Shabaab.
Salad worked for Radio Mogadishu. She was shot by three men with pistols near the campus where she studied, said eyewitnesses to the police. When they arrived, the perpetrators had already flown.
Late last year came another female reporter from Radio Mogadishu by the explosion of a car bomb. Two men were convicted of the murder, were executed in April.

Al-Shabaab was driven out of Mogadishu by forces of the African Union in 2011. But the group remains closed regularly in the Somali capital.
