Jordan Henderson Set to Leave Ajax for Liverpool

Sources have confirmed that Jordan Henderson is parting ways with Dutch club Ajax to return to his former team, Liverpool. The news of Henderson's departure was first reported by Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

Farewell at Training Camp

According to sources at ESPN Netherlands, Henderson has bid goodbye to his Ajax teammates during the club's training camp in Zeist. He recently visited Liverpool to pay his respects to ex-teammate Diogo Jota.

Professional Career and Achievements

Henderson, a 35-year-old midfielder with 83 caps for England, joined Ajax in January 2024 following a brief spell in the Saudi Pro League with Al Ettifaq. Known for his successful tenure at Liverpool, where he secured both the Premier League and Champions League titles under Jürgen Klopp, Henderson has also been a key figure in the English national team.

Since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the England national team manager, Henderson has remained an integral part of the squad, receiving praise from Tuchel for his contributions both on and off the field.
