Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are recruiting millions for #metoo

- A group of more than three hundred well-known names from the American entertainment industry have joined forces for the joint initiative Time's Up in response to the # metoo issue. Among them are actresses Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

The project, which also involves countless writers, producers, directors and screenwriters, includes a fund that financially supports victims of sexual abuse.

Among others, actresses Ashley Judd, Eva Longoria, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone and Reese Witherspoon have joined Time's Up. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Viola Davis, Alicia Vikander, Amy Poehler, Olivia Munn, Taylor Swift, Jessica Chastain, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep also support the project.

The fund is primarily intended to pay legal costs for victims. The money is meant for all victims of sexually inappropriate behavior or abuse, not only in the entertainment world but also in other sectors. Often, lawsuits are unaffordable.

On the first day, more than 13.4 million dollars has already been collected. The intended target is 15 million dollars.
