Italian talk show away from sexist talk

rome - Italian talk show Parliamone Sabato (Let's talk about Saturday) was shut down following a riot like a challenge sexist statements about Eastern European and Italian women. The boss of the state broadcaster RAI, Antonio Campo Dall'Orto, announced Monday that the program on the channel RAI1 to stop it, the ANSA news agency reported.

The program was presented by a well-known presenter, Paola Perego. She spent last Saturday attention to the appeal of women from Eastern Europe in Italian men. In treating the topic RAI1 projected a list of points to keep things simple: Eastern European women are mothers but have given birth again a gorgeous body, they dress always sexy, they are perfect housewives what they from childhood to have taught them not whine, they do not mugs and they forgive cheating.

The analysis of the foreign woman unleashed a storm of protest, including from parliamentary speaker Laura Boldrini. It rained Monday apologizing for the RAI, but that the broadcaster boss was not enough.
