rome - Reports from Italian media suggest that Pope Francis may have died from a brain hemorrhage, not respiratory issues from a double pneumonia.

Speculations on Pope Francis' Cause of Death

Italian media have raised the possibility that Pope Francis' passing could be attributed to a brain hemorrhage rather than respiratory complications from a recent double pneumonia.

Pope Francis' Passing

The 88-year-old pontiff passed away on Sunday morning after a five-week hospitalization for a double pneumonia, from which he had recently been discharged. Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Argentina, he led the Catholic Church since 2013.
