UNICEF Concerns Over Child Casualties in Gaza

UNICEF Spokesperson James Elder expressed concern over the daily death of approximately 35 children in Gaza since October 7, 2023, emphasizing the critical need for the ceasefire agreement.

Sigrid Kaag Appointed as UN Middle East Representative

Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Sigrid Kaag, has been appointed as the new UN Middle East representative. Kaag will continue to serve as the UN's high-level humanitarian aid and reconstruction coordinator for Gaza.

Initial Release of Prisoners
