Israel continues to programmer for technology belief

tel aviv - A programmer in Israel is suspected of trying to sell sensitive cyber technology. The man asked on the so-called dark web, the hidden part of the internet, converted more than 42 million euros for the stolen data, the Israeli Ministry of Justice announced.

The suspect, a 38-year-old programmer, would have stolen the technology from his employer. At that moment the man was hanging above his head. He would have acquired software and data worth hundreds of millions of dollars from the servers of the NSO Group company.

The programmer pretended to be a hacker on the dark web and wanted to be paid in cryptocurrency. He fell through the basket when his intended buyer went to NSO. The company warned the authorities, who arrested the suspect in early June.

The ministry says that the behavior of the man constituted a danger to state security. The sale of the data could also have led to the demise of the company, which provides, among other things, surveillance means to governments and police services.
