Israel attacks Hamas targets for fire balloons

tel aviv - Israel attacked two Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip on Monday. The attacks were a reaction to the fire balloons and the firefighters who have allowed militant Palestinians to fly across the border for months. The balloons have caused numerous large fires.

This weekend the violence around the Gaza Strip flared up. Israel performed dozens of air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday. In their turn, Palestinian militants fired dozens of missiles at Israel. According to an Israeli government spokesman, it was the biggest revival of violence since the Gaza War in 2014.

On Saturday evening, militant Palestinian organizations announced a unilateral ceasefire. Israel did not respond to this truce on Saturday.
