Islamic State loses dam in Raqqa

- Opponents of the Islamic State (IS) have Saturday a dam northwest of the city of Raqqa captured by the jihadists.

The dam on the Euphrates River with air support of US and other foreign aircraft Saturday fallen into the hands of Kurdish and Arab fighters, reported a spokesman for the Democratic Forces of Syria, Colonel Talal Selo.
