ankara - On the Syrian border in Turkey 21 members of Islamic State (IS), were arrested and one has slain when they tried to enter Turkey. This announced the Turkish armed forces Wednesday.

The 22 people including nine children trying Tuesday to illegally travel the country in the Turkish province of Kilis, north of the Syrian city of Aleppo.

At the airport of the Turkish capital Ankara Wednesday arrested eight men suspected of having ties with IS it. The Turkish daily newspaper Hürriyet reported that the eight arrived from Morocco and pretended to be tourists. One of those arrested was a paper with him when a route is signposted from the western Turkish Izmir through the Balkans back to Germany. What was their destination is still under investigation.

In Israel on Wednesday arrested a group of people suspected of being linked with IS. Six Arab men, aged 19 to 28 years old, his right picked up in Tel Aviv.
