Iran is willing to clear its stocks of highly enriched uranium and halt its production in exchange for the removal of American economic sanctions, according to Iranian official Shamkhani. The deal would also involve Iran committing to never pursue nuclear weapons, dismantling high-enriched uranium stocks, and limiting uranium enrichment to levels necessary for civilian purposes, as reported by NBC News. Additionally, Iran would permit international inspectors to oversee the process.
