england - English woman claims disability after fall, caught playing rugby on video despite disability claim.

English Woman's Claim for Compensation Denied After Being Seen Playing Rugby

English woman Hazel Boyd claimed she became disabled after falling off a horse named 'Foxy' while working as a stable hand in 2020. Boyd sued her employer, alleging that they knew Foxy was dangerous. She argued that her career as a rider was ruined and demanded compensation.

However, photos surfaced showing Hazel walking large dogs with her 'useless' arm under control for ninety minutes. Subsequently, videos emerged from the insurance company showing her playing rugby at a club and later on a football field. Boyd defended the videos as 'cautious training' sessions, not actual matches, according to English media.

The English High Court rejected her claim for compensation.
