Intel promises Trump billion investment

washington - Intel Corp., the largest producer of semiconductors in the world is 7 billion dollars (6.55 billion euros) investment in the factory in Chandler, Arizona. CEO Brian Krzanich brought the news to the outside after a meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Krzanich said during a news conference at the White House that the proposed expansion means that Chandler can also be advanced 7-nanometer chips. The new building is ready for it about three or four years. The project will deliver 3000 new jobs.

Intel, which has worldwide 106 000 employees, said last month more in 2017 to spend approximately $ 12 billion in new plants and equipment. That's 2 billion more than last year.
