Inés Zorreguieta buried Friday

buenos aires - Inés Zorreguieta, the youngest sister of Queen Máxima, who died tragically on Wednesday evening, will be buried Friday evening at 5 pm local time (8 pm Dutch time). Argentine media reports this.

The time between the death and the funeral is not short for Argentine concepts. It is customary in the South American country to have a funeral take place within one or two days.

The funeral takes place at the Parque Memorial in Pilar, a town 50 kilometers from the capital Buenos Aires. In this cemetery last August the father of the queen, Jorge Zorreguieta, was buried. There is a lot of police and security at the cemetery. A local newspaper had 57 agents and 17 police vehicles.

The royal family landed at the airport in Buenos Aires on Friday morning. The Government Information Service announced on Thursday evening that Willem-Alexander and Máxima would travel with their daughters to Argentina for the funeral of Inés.
