jhunjhunu - A 25-year-old Indian man, Rohitash Kumar, was declared dead and prepared for cremation when he suddenly showed signs of life.

Rohitash Kumar, a 25-year-old resident of the Indian state of Rajasthan, had been suffering from speech and hearing problems for some time. His condition worsened, and he was taken to the Jhunjhunu hospital in Rajasthan in a severely ill state.

According to Indian media, he suffered an epileptic attack and was left for dead. A doctor officially declared him deceased. However, a grave mistake occurred at that moment as the doctor started preparing the post-mortem report without subjecting Rohitash Kumar's body to an autopsy. Apparently deeming it unnecessary, the body was promptly transferred to the crematorium.

"Moments before the planned cremation, the body suddenly started moving," said Dr. Singh to AFP. "The man was still alive, he was breathing." Kumar was rushed back to the hospital, but sadly passed away on Friday, for real this time, as reported by The Times of India.

Four doctors, including the one who failed to conduct a post-mortem examination, have been suspended pending the investigation results.
