Important witness corruption case Netanyahu

tel aviv - Justice in Israel has found an important witness in a corruption case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It concerns Schlomo Filber, former confidant of Netanyahu and the ex-chief of the Ministry of Communications.

According to Israeli media, Filber has made a deal with the law that prevents him from prosecuting himself. He was arrested on Sunday together with several other suspects of corruption, among other things.

In the case against Netanyahu it is all about communication company Bezeq. That would be economically advantaged in exchange for favorable reporting on the Prime Minister and his family. Netanyahu, who is involved in several corruption cases, denies the accusations.

The Israeli police said last week to see sufficient reasons to sue Netanyahu for two cases of bribery.
