Hurricane leaves dead fish on highway US
wallace - The emergency services in the American state of North Carolina have found hundreds of dead fish on a motorway. The road flooded when Hurricane Florence drew across the state, reports American media.
The local fire brigade placed images of the morbid find on Facebook. It shows how firefighters spray the road near the town of Wallace. 'We can 'rinse fish from the highway' on the long list of interesting things that firefighters experience '', according to the Penderlea Fire Department.
The death toll due to hurricane Florence in the US stands at 44. Also millions of animals did not survive the heavy storm. An estimated 3.4 million poultry and over 5500 pigs were killed.
