Hungarian dog watches weeks with dead boss

budapest - Hungarian animal protectors have taken care of the 9-year-old dog Zsazsa who had been waiting for her deceased boss for weeks. The 66-year-old woman had passed away well before Christmas, but it was only a few days ago that the police went to pool in her apartment. Neighbors had been alarmed because they had not seen the woman for a while.

The police found Zsasza next to the body of the woman. The Havanese was so weakened that she could not stand up. 'We had to get her back then,' said a spokeswoman for animal protection.

After a few days of good care the dog has already been refurbished. 'She has already stood on her feet and even swished her tail,' said the animal guardian.
