jerusalem - The director for Israel and Palestine of human rights organization Human Rights Watch, Omar Shakir, does not need to expel Israel. A court in Jerusalem stuck Wednesday for his expulsion.
The Israeli authorities entered Shakir's work visa about two weeks ago and gave him fourteen days to leave the country. Reason was that he would have supported boycott measures against Israel. Shakir conducts research into human rights violations.
