ukraine - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported high-decibel explosions near the Zaporijya nuclear power plant, raising concerns amidst escalating conflicts in the region.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that there were high-decibel explosions near the Zaporijya nuclear power plant in Ukraine. The IAEA disclosed that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack was carried out on the training center of Europe's largest nuclear power plant. According to the statement on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) website, two explosions occurred near the Zaporijya nuclear power plant in Ukraine.

Regarding the alarming explosions near Europe's largest nuclear power plant, the IAEA stated, 'Our officials reported high-decibel explosions that coincided with the news of a UAV attack on the training center of the Zaporijya nuclear power plant in the vicinity.'

The IAEA mentioned that two explosions were heard and there is currently no information on any damage being detected.

The IAEA also reported, 'Our team additionally relayed that machine gun fire was heard multiple times from the area where the nuclear power plant is located.'

The IAEA emphasized that there has been an increase in military activity intensity around the power plant in the last 24 hours.
