manila - The Philippines have again been hit by a serious incident with many victims. In the event of a major traffic accident, at least twenty people were killed and 24 wounded on Christmas Day when a minibus collided head-on with a passenger bus.

That happened near the place Agoo, about 200 kilometers south of the capital Manila.

Most of the dead fell in the minibus, which was rented by a family who was on their way to a Christmas celebration with other family members. It was already the third event this week with many deaths and injured in the country.

A day earlier, at a large fire in a shopping center in Davao, at least 37 people died. Earlier this week, at least two hundred people in the south of the Philippines were killed by a storm. Dozens of people are still missing. The fear is that the death toll will rise further as a result of the severe weather.
