washington - Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris reaches out to rival Republicans of Donald Trump
During an event in the American state of Arizona, Harris engaged with Republicans who support her candidacy and oppose Trump's election. The Vice President under Joe Biden also pledged to establish an advisory council consisting of members from both parties to provide feedback in the event of her victory.
On October 23, Harris will answer questions from the public at a special event organized by the American news channel CNN. Trump has also been invited by CNN for a town hall with voters, but he did not respond.
Recent polls indicate that the upcoming elections will be a tight race between Harris and Trump.
