mexico - The Mexican authorities are still looking for three days for possible survivors of the devastating earthquake that hit the country on 19 September. However, the probability that someone else will be taken alive, according to the rescue services coordinator, is low.
Rescue workers in multiple cities in Mexico City for missing people. A total of 43 people are traceable. 'I can say on this point that it is unlikely that anybody will be found alive,' said coordinator Luis Felipe Puente. Certainly 325 people did not survive the recent natural violence.
Puente said the government had asked prosecutors to open an investigation into relatively new buildings collapsed during the earthquake. This includes a school where nineteen children and seven adults died. Research must show whether the building regulations are met.
