middle east - Hamas suggests swapping all Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners at once for a permanent ceasefire and full Israeli withdrawal.

Hamas Proposes Collective Exchange for Permanent Ceasefire

As negotiations continue for the second phase of the agreement, Hamas proposes a mass exchange of all Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners to achieve a lasting ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal.

Meanwhile, Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar confirms talks for the second phase of the agreement will take place this week. Hamas is set to release six remaining Israeli captives on Saturday, marking the end of the first phase of the prisoner exchange.

Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu has replaced the negotiators for the ceasefire's second phase, with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer leading the new team amid concerns that Hamas will not support exchange deals until the group is eliminated.
