Haiti tourists with helicopter evacuated

port-au-prince - Canadian tourists have been taken from their resort to Haiti by helicopter. They were stuck there because of the unrest in the country, the Canadian broadcaster CBC reports.

The 113 vacationers from Quebec stayed at the Royal Decameron resort, about 80 kilometers from the capital Port-au-Prince. They have flown in groups to the international airport. There they boarded a flight to Montreal, where they have since arrived.
