athens - A court in Greece rejected a request for extradition of Turkey for three soldiers on Wednesday. They fled to Greece in Greece after the failed coup attempt in July.
Ankara has requested extradition of eight soldiers. According to Turkey, they were involved in attempting a coup. In two cases the court has to make a ruling. Last week, the extradition of three other soldiers was stopped.
It is the second time Turkey asks for extradition of the eight soldiers. In January, a court rejected the first request.
