Greece has decided to extend the closure of schools on the islands of Santorini, Yumurgi, Nisyros, and Anafiya in the Aegean Sea for another week due to the recent seismic activity. The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, announced via social media that schools on these islands will remain closed next week as well due to the seismic activity affecting the region. These 4 islands have been under a state of emergency due to seismic activity, with school closures enforced for the past 2 weeks as well.
