'Governors mention primaries'

- Republican governors leave barely audible in the run-up to the presidential elections in the United States. They fear according to party officials to angry reactions from voters who have little liking for the party.

So far, only 10 of the 31 Republican governors expressed support for one of the candidates who hope to participate on behalf of the party in the elections. In previous primaries rallied correct many of the drivers behind the eventual winner.

So did George W. Bush, who became president in 2000, the support of 26 governors. Mitt Romney had to do it in 2012 with the support of 10 of the top executives. This year lacks a clear signal and can charge different candidates on the support of one or more governors.

Governors who chose party did so at their own risk. So Chris Christie (New Jersey) was a storm of criticism over him after he expressed his support for Donald Trump. Six newspapers in his home state have to take him called resignation.
