Google reduces Android downloads

- Google found a way to make Android app updates considerably smaller. A new algorithm allows for it, the company said on the Android Developers Blog.
The algorithm, called bsdiff, updates reduces the half more than the previous algorithm. An update of Chrome web browser was a result from 22.8 MB to 12.9 MB. Depending on the content of the app updates varies the space saving. However, most applications can count on at least 5 percent smaller files.
In the Play Store is the size of apps and updates also stated emphatically.
