Google Photos free up storage space

- Google Photos thanks to a new feature users can easily free up space on their Android device. The 'Free Up Space' option allows images which in the cloud backup is saved automatically to delete the device.

by To prevent photos inadvertently tablet or phone disappear, users must confirm the first automatic action. Even photos stored on the SD card of the device can now be removed in this manner. The option is currently only available for Android, it is not yet known when it will be rolled out to iOS. Furthermore, Google introduced a new feature on the Web version of Photos that makes it possible to save more in original format backed up photos in high quality. For photos in original quality users to run against a storage quota, while for photos in high quality and for an unlimited storage space.
