Google is working on live streaming app

- Google is working on a live streaming app, reports VentureBeat. The app is called YouTube Connect and has to compete with Facebook and Live Periscope Twitter.

Users of the app can log in to their account from Google or YouTube and live streaming directly from their mobile phone. Users can also tag each other and chat with each other. Via a newsfeed can view the latest clips of friends. The videos can also be viewed on the YouTube website, through the channels of the users. In addition, it becomes possible to store the live streams afterwards so they can be reviewed.
