san francisco - In the case surrounding the murder of Bob Lee, founder of the payment service Cash App, the glamorous sister of the suspect, Khazar Elyassnia, is perhaps the key figure.

In the case concerning the murder of Bob Lee, founder of the payment service Cash App, the glamorous sister of the suspect, Khazar Elyassnia, is perhaps the key figure. It is reported that she may have partied and slept with Lee before her brother Nima Lomeni fatally stabbed the multimillionaire.

The incident occurred on the night of April 4th last year. Lee, 43 at the time, was found bleeding and pleading for help around 02:30 am in downtown San Francisco (California). This was half an hour after he and Momeni left Elyassnia's apartment in the luxurious Millenium Tower. Lee was reportedly spending a wild night with the sister of the suspect.

It emerged that the businessman and Elyassnia were involved in a party scene for affluent individuals in the American city known as The Lifestyle, which centered around drug use and casual sex. Lee, who reportedly had ketamine and cocaine in his system, and Elyassnia were at such a party that evening.

Momeni believed that his sister had been drugged and raped by Lee, leading him to decide to murder the 43-year-old out of revenge. Whether Elyassnia was also raped by Lee remains uncertain. A few hours after the fatal stabbing, she referred to her brother in condemning text messages as a 'fucking psychopath'. Judicial documents even indicate that she told her brother that nothing unusual had happened. Prosecutors argue this as evidence of Momeni's premeditated murder.

Friends mentioned that Momeni seeking 'revenge' for his sister was not surprising. The siblings, from an Iranian family that emigrated in the nineties, have a strong bond. A friend told Mission Local, 'Nima would absolutely do anything for Khazar, and she would do the same for him'.

Elyassnia appears to have been involved with Lee in an affair. The 38-year-old has been married to Dino Elyassnia, a prominent plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty, since 2013. According to The San Francisco Standard, he has spoken highly of their marriage in numerous magazines. Despite Khazar's alleged infidelity, Dino initially supported his wife during the murder case, though it seems there has been a change in that stance.
