Germany Syrian arrested for war crimes

karlsruhe - The German authorities have arrested an alleged Syrian war criminal. He is believed to have killed 36 suspected people in his homeland. Notified by the German federal prosecutor in Karlsruhe on Thursday.
The victims, Syrian government officials, were executed in March 2013. According to Spiegel Online, the suspect a 35-year-old asylum seeker from Dusseldorf. Giessen was arrested a second Syrian.
Both men would have fought for the Nusra Front, which is now called Fateh al-Sham. The investigating judge of the Federal Court decided in the course of the day if they remain in custody.
