Germans can now see more music on YouTube. The video site had an argument with society GEMA since 2009, but it has been settled. As a result, users after seven years finally got rid of the 'blocking message' in some songs.
YouTube and GEMA have reached an agreement, but the content they have not disclosed Tuesday. However, YouTube says 'composers, songwriters and publishers need to be paid fairly, and fans need to be able to detect enjoy their favorite songs and new music.'
Germany blocked the 70 000 artists who were affiliated with GEMA. Germans could be looking at other clips.
