German woman hostage released

kabul - The German woman who was kidnapped in Afghanistan two months ago , is free again. The employee of the German aid agency GIZ was in August in the capital, Kabul taken by armed men from a car. According to diplomatic sources, she was released Saturday afternoon and she resides now in the German embassy .

The German Foreign Minister , Frank-Walter Steinmeier , confirmed Saturday that the woman is released and " the circumstances are in good health ".
