The opened envelopes were discovered in a sorting center of a postal company. According to the police it was all about Christmas post in all cases. The company then initiated an internal investigation and found the 24-year-old man on the trail. He worked for another company and talked about emptying the mailboxes where the envelopes had apparently been.
