German goes in on people crowd

bottrop - A car driver was ridden on a group of pedestrians in the German town of Bottrop (North Rhine-Westphalia) around the turn of the year. At least four people were injured, the authorities report.

The driver may have racist motives. The Westfalenpost reports that there are Syrians and Afghans among the victims. The 50-year-old motorist would have tried to drive another pedestrian shortly after midnight, but that failed. Later, the motorist in the city center drove on the group with the foreigners. He did so intentionally according to witnesses, writes the newspaper.
