Gang recycles and makes condoms in dirty workshops

beijing - The Chinese police have seized approximately half a million boxes of counterfeit condoms. They were provided with well-known brand names, but according to the authorities, the quality was below par. Seventeen suspects have been arrested, reports Chinese media.

The gang sold the counterfeit contraceptives to supermarkets and hotels. The criminals produced the illegal goods in improvised workshops in rural areas in Henan and Hubei provinces. The police think they have confiscated 6.3 million euros of condoms.
