Gang Colombia lays down weapons during Christmas

bogota - The Usuga Clan, the largest criminal gang in Colombia, has issued a one-year armistice for the holidays. In addition, they have called on other gangs to do the same, to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve.

'We are announcing a unilateral cease-fire for all areas where we operate between 8 December and 10 January 2019', is a statement from the gang. 'We hope that other gangs participate to contribute to peace in the country. '
