Fugitive Germany may be volunteer

- Refugees in Germany may from December to work as a volunteer. Be made up to 10,000 extra places in the so-called Federal Voluntary Service for refugees who want to work. The volunteers are deployed for youth and elderly care.

Refugees can also volunteer to work to help other refugees, said Minister of Family Manuela Schwesig Monday. That should benefit the integration.

Volunteers receive per month up to 363 euros and social insurance for their contribution to society. The organization may also provide shelter and meals.

Germans can also register as a volunteer. At present there are 35 000 places in volunteer service. The German government has allocated 50 million euros for the expansion of the service until the end of December 2018.
