French village plagued by strings, panties and underpants

- For two weeks, the French village of Poligny has been plagued by underwear. Since 5 February, washing lines full of strings, panties and underpants have been hanging in the cap every night. Nobody knows why the underwear is displayed in the town.

'No one has claimed the action so far', according to the city council. 'There must be inhabitants of the village who know more about this action, but nobody says anything. The only thing that is certain is that the action does no harm to anyone. '
