chad - Following the termination of the cooperation agreement between Chad and France, French military forces will leave the country by January 31, 2025.

Chad President Muhammed Idriss Deby Itno announced that French soldiers will completely withdraw from the country by January 31, 2025, after the end of the cooperation agreement between Chad and France. President Itno stated, "We will continue our relations with friendly countries, prioritizing Chad's sovereignty and superior interests." The Chadian government had announced the termination of the security and defense cooperation agreement with France on November 28.

Some French soldiers had already started withdrawing from Chad on December 10.
