paris - The French press photographer, Mathias Depardon, made a call on Saturday after his release in Turkey, not to forget the seated colleagues in that country. Depardon returned to France on Friday night.

He worked for National Geographic in southeastern Turkey. He was arrested on May 8th. According to his lawyer, he was accused of 'terrorist propaganda'. In addition, press release would have expired.

Depardon was detained in a detention place for foreigners to be deployed, but it was not at all expulsion. Depardon was in hunger strike and French President Macron approached his Turkish ambassador, Erdogan, on the matter.

Dozens of journalists are in Turkey. The government of Erdogan took the failed coup attempt last July to tackle critics and opponents.
