Freezing cold in Poland demands almost 50 lives

warsaw - Due to the icy cold in Poland, at least eight people have been frozen to death since Friday, the Polish authorities report. In total, 48 people in Poland have died from the cold since last November.
During the weekend, temperatures in large parts of the country dropped to- 20 degrees Celsius. The authorities are calling people to help the homeless and the elderly.
