Delphine Cascarino, the 28-year-old French forward, has joined Women's Super League team London City Lionesses on a three-and-a-half-year contract following her departure from NWSL's San Diego Wave FC.

Cascarino expressed her enthusiasm for the move, stating, 'I'm feeling good and really excited to start the second part of the season with London City. London City being the only independent women's club in the WSL excites me.'
She further added, 'England is the country of football, and it has always been a goal of mine to play in this league. I aim to compete in the Champions League with London City and win numerous trophies.'
Impressive Career Highlights
With 86 appearances for the French national team, Cascarino has been part of major tournaments like the Women's World Cup, Olympics, and European Championships. During her time at San Diego Wave FC, she scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 34 appearances across two NWSL seasons.
Prior to her stint in the NWSL, Cascarino spent a significant period at OL Lyonnes, London City's sister club, where she netted 31 goals in 204 games.
