In the framework of the ceasefire, Israel and Hamas conducted the fourth hostage-prisoner exchange in Gaza, releasing 3 Israelis in return for 183 Palestinian prisoners. The exchange was facilitated by the International Red Cross Committee.

Smooth Exchange

The Israeli hostages, Yarden Bibas, Ofer Calderon, and Keith Siegel, were handed over to the Red Cross officials in a simple ceremony in Han Yunus. The release of the Palestinians took place after the Israelis were safely returned.

Relief and Concern

The return of the Palestinian prisoners brought joy to their families and the broader Palestinian community. However, concerns remain about the fate of Yarden Bibas' missing family members, allegedly held captive by Hamas.
