- In an attack with a car bomb in southeastern Turkey Thursday evening at least four dead and 15 wounded.

The target would have been a vehicle of the Turkish police. The attack happened OKP 25 kilometers from the city of Diyarbakir, where Tuesday 3 dead and 23 wounded were in an attack on a police vehicle.

It is not known who is behind the attack. The Turkish government and the extremist armed group Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) decided three years ago to the rest weapons and talk peace. That peace process, however, stranded in the summer of last year, partly as a result of the bloody battle across the border in Iraq and Syria. This led Turkey to a new wave of violence.

Diyarbakir in the predominantly ethnic Kurdish southeast of Turkey with approximately one million inhabitants one of the largest cities in the region.
