diyarbakir - Four civilians were killed Monday by an explosion in the Turkish town of Silopi, in the predominantly Kurdish southeast of the country. Moreover, there were nineteen injured, including five members of the security service. It made a spokesman for the unit known.

Silopi, like other cities in the region, regularly rocked by violence since the armed wing of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) last year decided not to keep longer the truce which was agreed with the government.
