harare - Two former ministers who served under Robert Mugabe were indicted in Zimbabwe for corruption.

The 93-year-old Mugabe retired in November after a military coup, as a result of which his former second husband Emmerson Mnangagwa became president. The soldiers arrested a number of important allies of Mugabe and his wife Grace, who himself aspired to the presidency.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Walter Mzembi and former Minister of Energy Samuel Undenge received the charges for corruption, their lawyers report Saturday. They both deny guilt.

In November, the former Minister of Finance Igantius Chombo was accused because he would have swindled at the central bank of Zimbabwe.
